Once the sun gets up and the fish go into those pads, try flipping them. You can catch fish all day long doing that. Just need a 7'3" (or longer) extra heavy rod, 40-50 lb braid, 1/2 to 3/4 oz tungsten flipping weights, heavy gauge flipping hooks and some creature baits. So much fun!
how do you fish that worm without getting it stuck over all the roots of the lillys?
What size swimbait are you using?
Owner underspin with a keitech is my go-to confidence bait right now. If you want the Keitech to last longer, change the centering pin spring on the underspin to a Large spring, owner makes those too. Learned this from TacticalBassin. Nice video though bud.
Have you ever carried super glue with to try and keep the plastics on better? I always have some in my tackle box, apparently it helps keep them on but when they're knawing on baits it might not matter much
Yes I have a lot/hate relationship with the wind! It helps with the heat but makes it so hard to control a boat! Sometimes I do way better fishing in super winds, other times not so much. This last weekend I saw 0-5 mph winds in the forecast for the morning and it was over 5 already at 6 am and got up to 15 by the time I left? Trolling motor useless and the drift was too fast! Oh well, still caught some fish so that's a good thing!
