I Explored Even Shallower at Lake Perris… Still Caught 5 Bass
Back out at Lake Perris after work continuing to track the early prespawn bite. In the previous trips I found a consistent pattern around 8 feet of water, so this outing I spent more time exploring the shallower areas in the same zones to see how far up the bass are starting to move.
Even while exploring new shallow water, the bite stayed consistent. I landed 5 bass and lost 3 more, which tells me the fish are definitely active and starting to position shallower as conditions warm up.
This channel is all about real, honest Lake Perris fishing reports — showing what works, what doesn’t, and how the bite is changing week to week.
If you’re fishing Perris, hopefully this helps you dial in the pattern.
