I had a chance to fish with some semi-pro bass fishermen on a private lake. While the Largemouth bass were slow to hit, the big bluegills were another story. I made a boast that I could catch a dozen fish in approximately 30 minutes. That’s one every 2.5 minutes. After the slow day we had, they took the bet. But I never said that every fish would be a bass.
