I Caught the Town Centre BEAST! (Fishing dream come true…) ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

Fishing a TOWN CENTRE for the monster fish that live here – and catching a PB! I’ve been after this fish for a very long time, and it has finally happened! Winter lure fishing starts now, and I seem to have stumbled across the perfect fishing lure for the colder weather. Most of the perch fishing i’ve done has been in summer using things like paddle tail jigs, so this is completely new to me. What a huge success though!

  1. Hi George congrats. I was wondering is lure fishing good in the winter? I was planning to do some freshwater lure fishing this winter as well as some sea fishing in Devon, Cornwall etc. Also I am going to Lake District in late March next year. Is it worth bringing my rod there?

  2. Nice fish there, fella.
Take it from me, though. There are bigger ones in that basin. Ask me how I know! Lol.
Not worth trying to fish there when busy with tourists, and the boats are chugging all over the place. They stir the water up like a stinking mud soup, and you're being pestered by bystanders all the time.
