Well folks, I had an absolutely unexpected first trip out for 2024 this year, and I finally got around to editing it and putting it up for y’all. We got a week of warm weather in late January, and a couple of our lakes opened up for a few days, so I decided to take my kayak down to my local lake and see if I could catch my first fish of the year. It was a rough day of freezing weather, wind and rain with a few flurries of snow to top it off, but I was able to catch my first fish of 2024, as well as my first swimbait fish of 2024.
