I can’t believe this hidden stream had fish this big! This is the last day of the river season. The method being ultralight jigging with the hopes of catching absolutely anything willing to eat the lures. I never expected the session to end this well!

Perch taste nice, so do pike. Chubb are to bony. Tench to growny. Carp to not bad. Interesting fact. All fresh water fish are edible.
Different situation but similar thing in the " not my job" category
A few months ago EA were clearing dead wood from my local stretch of the Thames and I saw 2 guys catching fish and putting them in bags I asked what they were doing and they told me in broken English taking them for the table
So I told the EA staff who told me in no uncertain terms they didn't give a shit as it wasn't what they were there for!! Sorry why do we pay for a rod licence again? Surely for this too? Thoughts?
Are you related to dj James hype by any chance
Nice watch buddy.
There's alot of doctors and engineers they can send to clean that up there
Was the end 2 takes?. I swear the fish fins dropped before the last sentence
Unless you bring a garbage bag and pick up trash, you really can't complain
Not the last day of the 'river' season. Find a nice stream with trout in and you dont have to stop.
Bad rant pal, it’s the councils responsibility to clear litter not the EA’s
Another great vlog from the man who can catch a fish in a puddle.
Just excellent
Think it would be good if you with your large audience used your position to hold the EA to task and present them with the litter evidence and ask them awkward questions.
Mentioning it and moving on will never help address the situation.
The net handling technique at 11 minutes in was EPIC! The backwards / reverse unlocked head, net land was just superb!
Those 2 Perch were a nice ending to your river season. I know that they weren't that big for you but here in the states those would have been pretty stout! Yes, I know that they are a different species. Yellow perch (Perca flavescens) are native to North America (adults are typically 7 – 10 inches in length), while European perch (Perca fluviatilis) are found throughout Europe and parts of Asia (adults are 6 – 15 inches). …The Pike you landed earlier in the video was also very skillful. I thought that you might lose your rod tip for a second.
I absolutely hate the trash that accumulates a long the river here in Central Montana. I'm constantly filling my net with cans ,worm containers plastic bottles. I can fill my net with ease every day & I do when the fishing is slow. I managed a 30in 7lb Northern & 2 between 23 & 24 1/2in & a 17in brown over the weekend & I lost 1 yesterday that felt massive I battled it for 5 minutes never got my eyes on it the ,the fight it put up makes me think 15+. Awsome video as usual
Nice job! Where did you get your new landing net? I am looking for one.
Or find a old cow pop and pop something in the ground and wiggle it the vibrations bring the worms to the surface
Irs about time the EA Canal river Trust and local councils and landowners got together and sorted how to manage the rivers and bankside trees and vegetation out in a sympathetic manner
. Too many outsorced tree butchers allowed to decimate watercourses !
The environment agency does the opposite of helping the environment. They leave a trail of destruction wherever they go, the sooner they go the better.
A great film again Chris! Lovely fish…
I don't know you just make it look so easy well done again no one campers.
Ive just recently found your channel and i watch you vids almost every day now
Honestly Chris, you're a bloody legend mate

Is it me, or does gingers fishing season seem to last longer than everyone else's

Trout season started April 1st here in Kentucky, US. Along with 5 straight days of record rainfall and flooding. Right now, our woodland streams are raging rivers.
You should change name into Pike Master
This is exactly how I would have ended the river season.
Ea are a joke and i wish there was a alternative the amount of money they waste is shameful
awsome video chris

Love you mate and what you do. Now, youre clearly a man of nature, do you notice weather patterns in relation to chemtrails? Just a question.
Mate , you are one hell of a angler ,

You could use your influence to organise a litter picking session. I organised one on our local river in France last Saturday, and 20 or so volunteers picked up 84 kgs in under 2 hours. Looks prettier, less plastic getting into the food chain, and plastic and cans were put to be recycled. Win, win, win.
Chopping down trees and leaving rubbish
I think that's disgusting seriously
Shocks me how many people think it’s ok to dump their rubbish
Yep the EA is obviously run by diversity people who are totally useless and have no clue about managing eco systems.
Video with your tank in your shed please ffs this the second time of asking
