I Built a MASSIVE PRIMITIVE FISH TRAP!

In today’s video, my friend @JunoBrandon and I build a massive primitive fish trap using rocks and branches! We built it in a canal filled with fish like snakeheads, peacock bass, cichlids, tilapia, and many others! And we ended up catching a bunch of fish in the fish trap and brought some back to my backyard pond to keep as our new pets!

  1. A good tip for this kind of a trap is to not just make a rock wall, but to use mud on the interior of the rock wall so they don't have cracks to go through or hide in. Make your rock wall and pack mud (clay) along the interior walls so the little fish can't slip through the cracks and to make it so bigger fish can't hide in crevices. I love primitive trapping, it can genuinely work better than a produced net/cage fish trap. Depending on what your trying to catch and the environment, of course. I have used rocks walls lined with clay in river systems to trap tons of fish. Anything that breeds in a river will find your perfect little cozy home that you created and get stuck in it.

  2. Hey dude, what’s the snakehead story? You released this one, but a few videos back you said that they couldn’t be released and had to be euthanized. Just wondering?👍💯
