I LOL at this video. I dumped a 3700 plano box over last year that was full of bass sinkers, drop shot weights, nail weights and what a disaster. I had em all separated and organized. I feel your pain. Great video.

I recently did that with my crappie box! All of those Aberdeen hooks and tiny jigs all over the bottom of the boat!
Did that with my dad's triple tray plano back in the 70's on the rip rap/boulders down on "The Grade"
Made that mistake with the terminal box once. Only once.
I did that one time in my boat with my jigging spoon and ice jig box.I lost about half the baits over the side of my boat.That was a expensive mistake that box was packed full.
Man I dumped my terminal tackle box in the middle compartment on my front deck a few months back. So I feel your pain buddy… LOL
I've always been amazed at how a Bass can wrap his whole mouth around a treble hook and then let go, but all it has to do is barely touch carpet or fabric and it's hopelessly hooked

I'm not sure if it's right or wrong but I have been putting some olive oil in my hook trays. Just use a saturated rag and wipe the box after I pat dry the hooks
I don’t enjoy watching your misery, but I sympathize with your plight. While you’re in there, you might as well get out your split rings, trebles, and pliers so you can replace any dinged-up hooks or deformed rings.
Looking at that pile of baits all tangled together hooks everywhere was giving me hives. That is a nightmare for somebody with OCD organizational skills. Had to turn away, I couldn't watch. 😂
Matt i was looking at your spook junior. My favorite top water is always the super zara spook , light blue back + all white body with most definitely rattles inside for night fishing off a point with fast current . I nail big walleyes all the time that hit the lure so hard when walking the dog in around 8 to 10 ft of clear lake water in Quebec , Canada. This was definitely a diff. 😂 video but i loved it . I never miss your great 👍 videos . Many thanks .

I just bought two big Buds this weekend at the Pigeon Forge, Tn NFLCC event. One Bud was faded, the other was still in the box. I am saving the boxed one, and will fish the faded one. I was told there are two sizes of Big Buds available. I also saw a Coors topwater also. I had a Big Bud back in the 1970’s, but lost it somewhere.
Oh Mighty Matt, that is how you learn a lesson the hard way 😮😂😂. But, I keep myself pumped every time I see that we have a lot of the same baits,especially the spooks and one. Get you some little rubber bands like the ones girls/women use in their hair. You can buy like 200 of em for $5. Use those to rubber band the hooks together. Not perfect, but way better than the bulk of hook bonnets. When you get back, just rubber band the baits you used.
I dont know how many times I've done that.. fishing from the bank and u do that it REALLY sucks
I have the same rule with the compartments in my bass boat. Don’t leave the compartment latches up. Total trip hazard. Someone will eventually end up in the water.
The Chugbug is one of the most underrated topwaters out there ! One of my favorite baits for smallies
