Those particular Truscend lures are crap. They don't sing and they don't swim well. The ones w the weights in the belly however are fire

You can't fish the minnow swimmer on a bait caster only on a reel 😉

Did you catch anything on the multi joint swim baits? I thought for sure there would be a getting bit comparison.
I have the 3 pack of the truscends that look like small pike and they worked really good for me pike fishing last year
Next time go to aliexpress and pay half the price you would pay on Amazon. The jointed baits that use nylon for the joints don't last past a couple of nice fish. They deform.
They ain't that cheap anymore. The 5 pack used to be 7.99$ and it's 14.99$ now.
I like my large soft plastic lures to run a little on their side to simulate and injured fish. Worked great for me for Pike in Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark and here in in UK.

There's a way to tune lures if they're going sideways,simply bend the line hole sideways and see if it improves

I caught a couple hogs on them bassdash swimbaits.i use the darker ones in early spring.

They are phenomenal baits, just be sure to change out the hooks. The hooks rust and straighten out on bigger fish.

The baby bucca bull shads are probably the best budget swimbaits you can get, the action is just so good and everything about them is quality… although because I watch tacticalbassin I change the hooks one everything… thx Matt… and they now have a baby bull Gill on some websites…

You can bend the metal loop to make it run straight.
Did you try adjusting the baits to make them not run “on their side”? That’s a skill any crank bait fisherman needs to know.
