Everyone is going to call it a crankbait, but the Hybrid Hunter by Strike King is different than other hard plastic bass fishing lures. It’s more like a crankbait-shaped jerkbait and it’s not for winding down and bumping against rocks, wood or shell bottoms to trigger bass bites. While it is “technically” a flat side crankbait, like the Berkley frittside (designed by cranking legend David Fritts), this video will describe what makes this bait good for bass fishing, especially around grass.
