Huddleston Eating Bass Cast to Catch

Fishing in Southern California on a public lake (as always) targeting trophy largemouth with a huddleston swimbait with our friends Anthony and Ed.

Every single BIG fish we catch is captured “Cast to Catch”, almost always with multiple angles. Here is some RAW footage for you to gain some insight on the sequences that comprise the content here at Big Bass Dreams.

Southern California, beautiful weather, terrible fishing conditions, limited options for fishable water, but home of some of the biggest bass in the world. This is where we cut our roots and still call home. Some of the toughest fishing in the country, but also some of the most rewarding. Take a closer look at a special moment fueled by the passion created by BIG Bass.

  1. Did that monsta hit it on the pause? Do you see more strikes when slow moving/twitching or when it's on the pause?
Another incredible fish! Thanks so much for sharing. Us on the right coast are super jealous! I mean, even your Bluegills are massive out West!

  2. Ok…I think I got it.
So you cast as far as u can…
Reel 6 or 7 times…get on phone check IM/Text/InstaStory for 2 minutes while swimbait sits…jig swimbait…reel 4 more times…talk to the neighbor…jig swimbait again…reel 2 times…stop & reach to show swimbait you are talking about…swing & miss…reel 4 more times & wait 1 minute…fix shoelaces on J's…jig swimbait some more…look away at swimbait box…wait 1 more minute…feel bite…reel in fast to pick up slack THEN & ONLY THEN…SET THE HOOK…have your fellow boater to do a good job with the net.
Think I got the sequence down. πŸ‘ŠπŸ˜ŽπŸ‘ but im gonna need some J's (5min between cast to catch…when going slow…slow down some more)
    Sweet vid O!
