The bass in this video was caught a few minutes before the much bigger bass in the previously published YouTube video — You Can’t Catch This with a 4-weight Fly Rod. It was caught with the same Fly Rod FROG on an 8 weight Temple Fork Fly Rod. The calm, spooky conditions required a very slow and stealthy approach to prevent scaring these big, old, suspicious, small pond bass from suspecting that something was different at the pond that day.
