Fuckin sucks man! I just lost my Whopper Plopper Perch color in the 130 size today. I did a long and far cast… the lure hit the water. It’s just the Damn wind blew my line onto the tree branches… i think you know what happened after… THEE SADDEST DAY ALL SEASON.

I’ve gotten lots of hits over the years with this lure. From my experience it’s 30% hook up rate. What’s cool about this lure is that big red fish and trout will hit it!!!

Cast it out and retrieve. Repeat. The hooks have scratched the side of the bait and they do that on all of them. Doesn't really matter. Replace the hooks with galvanized hooks and use for salt water also. Tight lines!
