Great information thank you
Can you put a squeeze sinker in place of swivel?
I've been fishing for 25 years of my life and one of my biggest pet peeves in fishing is that bass fishermen never let people know the fact that the Carolina rig isn't just for bass. It's actually the most versatile multi-species rig out there and people use it to catch pretty much every species of fish out there in both freshwater and saltwater literally everything. I personally use it for channel catfish, flathead catfish, blue catfish, bluegill, white crappie, black crappie, pumpkinseed, redear sunfish, rainbow trout, brown trout, brook trout, shovelnose sturgeon, freshwater drum, and surf perch, flounder, and red snapper when I make it down to California to go surf fishing. The reality is you can catch pretty much anything on the Carolina rig and I wish bass fisherman would let people know that just in case they aren't aware of how versatile the Carolina rig actually is.
Seeing a professional Angler not using Braid is just weird. LOL.
Thanks for the straightforward info. Getting the kids out in a few hours.
So many fishing videos I see people touching lead and then licking their knot/fingers and I wonder if they even realize
Go dawgs
Man I’ve been leaving the Hooke exposed and it gets caught on garbage all these years smdh
I had to take a double take to see who that young skinny guy was with FM’s voice. Then I noticed that this video was 7 years old🤣
appreciate your great content!
Thnak You for sharing
and if you add a peg float between hook and sinker it becomes a santee cooper rig right?
What is my rod has straight Floral carbon
I can use a spinning rod instead of a bait caster correct
Do any of you guys k ow if the weight of the sinker weight matters
Roll tide baby
Simple enough!! Now to go try it out! Thanks! 😁
The carolina rig seems to work better than the texas rig. The worm action is a bit slower and off the bottom.
So basically its a Texas rig using a swivel and leader?
What they call TX rigging these days? It's been called that since forever.
Are u using a green screen?
Good stuff.
Wonderful
Good simple video. Im gonna put a wacky stickbait and try it that way
What hook should i use for live bait?
Can you put more then 1 bead on or just 1?
Nice hat and jacket. Go Dawgs
What we have here is a master knot tyer. Wish I could learn to tie them just as fast. Have any videos with that secret?
I really like your videos and I'm learning a lot. my 8-year-old has decided he wants to fish and you're teaching me a lot of things. I can sort of put up with the hat. But that jacket is too much. Go Jackets.
Every time I’ve used this rig with a lizard here in Texas I’ve caught something. Pain in the ass to rig on the fly but effective.
Why does your face look like it's CGI'd? Lmao 🤣
Do you need a swivel on a baitcaster rod? I always thought it was just for spinners….
At first glance I thought you didn't have any legs
I wonder what football team he likes
You can Realy tell its a green screen
Why do we need a swivel
Thanks for the video
5 min videos win vs 25 min videos on these basics
Hey you cant do a video on the Carolina rig wearing a Georgia hat and shirt ….jk go dawgs
Did he just say lizards?
For this rig, does the bait have to float? What if it doesn’t float ?
Nice video. I have fished all my life, but no one has ever showed me how to use different lures, rigs, etc. Your vids have really helped. Thank you!
This rig is great for mangrove snapper here in SW Florida.
Nice green screen
This works trust me i caught my wife with this same set up with a 8 inch worm well 7 and a half … Ok ok it was a 6 inch curly tail think the color might have been pumpkin seed 🤣🤣🤣🤣
