If you're new here check the comments below! These guys and gals are sharing some VERY helpful tips! Thanks for watching as always 馃憡馃徏馃榿
Just went out today for my first time actually targeting bass and managed to get 3! I got a 14.5", a 13.5", and a little maybe 6" bass. Those were all caught on Zoom Salamanders in june bug color and tied onto some Zebco 10lb test and a maybe $40-50 rod and reel setup! You truly dont need a whole lot to get into this and be good at it!
Love it humble beginnings good reminder that it鈥檚 not the gear that makes a good fisherman
Thank you yakpak
You pretty damn cool. I subscribed.
The gear doesn't define an angler.
Will you need a weight
Ever since I was 7 years old I've been pretty much raised on trout fishing now here I am at the age of 47 years old and I would like to get into bass fishing for the first time ever. So just wondering what would be the best pound test line and what are some of the best jigs and lures that bass would go after. Well I know all fish goes after minnows and there are some fish that will go after crayfish or crawdads whatever you prefer to call them, other than that I am so lost.
Just subbed. Very humble. Not over complicating new fisherman/anglers. Majority of us just want to fish and have fun. Alot of us don't have that kind of money to spend on gear. 馃檹馃徔馃挋馃帲
Sooooooooooooo HELPFULL
Hey man, never really focused on bass fishing. Fished my whole life. I got a Native 13 pedal drive yak, first kayak. Been watching you. Is there a way you could do a video showing how to adjust, tighten and or replace rudder cables on a kayak?
Maybe show what the bait looks like to the camera. Anyways the rest of the video was good. Thanks
I just started and this helps alot
Thanks for the great vid made me subscribe I get discouraged sometimes when I see all these people with all this high end gear
hey can i bass fish with 8lb line
Thanks so much your like the only video explaining this!!拢
What about weights?
all I started with was a Cheap spinning real one crank bait and some senkos
I enjoyed this video
I hope you can take some constructive criticism. WE'RE BEGINNERS! Don't talk jargon! Say the name of the product so we can understand you. You say it fast and a bit mumbled. Show the product to the camera and make sure it's in focus. Good video but I think you could polish it up a bit so you can get more subscribers.
Dude this just popped up on my recommendations 馃ぃ馃ぃ馃ぃ
If you guys want a really good set up, lews makes some great starter combos and abu garcia makes some reels that are hard to beat for the price. And you can always check places like garage sales, facebook market place and let go for affordable used gear.
Hey bro can you help me with one question? I Just bought a spinning shakespear gx2 combo and put some 20 lb braid on it. I bought some spinner bait, bizz bait and popper, do you recomend贸 to tight those directo to main line or using leader? And for drop shot, texas rig do I have to use leader? What LB on leader do you suggest? Thanks for your help, I like this video. I subscribed already.
I鈥檝e been fishing for years but it鈥檚 nice to come back to these types of videos just for refreshers. Great video man

I caught a 3lb bass on a 5 foot 6 medium light rod on a weightless texas rig
I'm 14 myself and this helped me tons! Thanks man! Could you tell me the hooks you use specifically I can't find them at Walmart?
Thx for keeping it reel lol
Thx for all the advice. U hit it on the nail of my aggravations
Thanks now I can fish with the basics 馃榿
I am 14
I just started bass fishing regularly this year, I prefer spider wire 20lb green braid line or 12-15lb seagar flourocarbon if I spelled that right. Those are my preferred brands
I just started actually getting into fishing this year. (Got my rod last year). I would go with just a simple spinner, the cheap shimano reals are plenty good for most ponds and lakes. And just a simple 6 and a half to 7ft rod. I started just simply using a worm with 2 splitshots on it and jig it off the bottom. Works great for large mouth!
This is my version of what you need for fishing Watch "Fishing necessities and the thing that are a waste of your money" on YouTube
https://youtu.be/_yojNdV3YKU
Again, only recommendations of what to buy, and then affiliate links on description! Instead of telling a beginner what bait to buy 1000 times, tell him how to put it on hook, how to swing the rod, etc. This is bullshit!
Hey bro just found this video because I was bored and just watching a lot of your vids. One of your best!! Also, huge congrats on 20k! Huge accomplishment!
I started out with a 10 dollar spinning combo
I started with 10$ ZEBCO
Thank you so much for this video. It helped me so much on the basics. I love this video because off the simple tips. I appreciate taking your time out off your day to help others that are just starting to fish. THANKYOU 馃榿
What size daiwa reel is that? And what size pole do you have it on..
sub, like, and comment!!! 馃槑
I started out with an Abu Garcia Silvermax Baitcaster. This thing was a tank and I still have it today. I am 15 years old and I have quite a few Ducketts and St. Croix Rods. I still fish Abu and I have Curados, which in my opinion are the best. If you truly love fishing, stick with it and save up. You will eventually get the more expensive setups and maybe even ask a pro for some Tackle like I did. Fishing is amazing and stick with it.
2:00 what's with the zip ties驴?
I just sent this video to a friend that iv been trying to get into bass fishing.
I've never understood why people making such a big deal and get so technical about fishing with certain types of rods, reels, line, etc… I purchased a $17 Shakespeare Tiger rod from Walmart and have used it for both salt water and fresh water. I've caught bass, stingrays, catfish & mackerel on it. I spooled both my rods and my friends rod with KastKing braid and I just change the leader for whatever type of fishing I plan on doing. I could see reasoning behind length and action of a rod, but at the end of the day, all a fish will see is your leader and bait. Hell you could fish with a stick, some line, a hook and some bait. Lol. And from what I understand, when the fish are biting, they are biting. So I'm under the assumption they will go after almost anything. A person could go through 23 Walmart rods at $17 vs ones $400 reel & rod. Lol. My favorite go to bait for bass fishing is the Zoom Mag 2 Worm & the Zoom Craw Jr. weightless or weighted Texas rigged. Will more than likely be adding the Zoom Lizard to my bass arsenal.
