Today I show you how to fish with small swimbaits for bass and bluegill. This is an easy way to learn swimbait fishing, because you can get a lot of practice while fishing for bluegill too. I start with a 2 inch swimbait in the color pink. I catch 2 nice bass very quickly. I even catch them back to back! After switching to a 1.5 inch swimbait, I start catching bluegill as well. I even catch another bass on the tiny black swimbait. All you need is a small jig head, and a small swimbait, and you can be fishing a swimbait too. #realistic #fishing

Hi,Alex!!
Nice catches,pal!!π£π£
Looking at some action usually means some ladies Alex
Master of the micro lures!
Thanks for the everyday guy who doesn't have a boat
This video has one hell of an intro lol
Ima go buy some that bait now thank you very much. Your mustache remind me of Lorax π
YESSIR! A good shoreline micro-swimbait bite is a ton of fun! π
Heck yeah broski – love them micro swimbaits – good work! π
What a great night of fishing! I love swim baits!
Just picked up some small swimbaits. Hoping they work this well!
A snack is a snack! Nice catches.
I've caught all my fish the last 3 weekends on a 2 inch Bobby Garland swim bait. Different species caught, that includes some decent skip jacks, and a good 15-20 inch small mouth. Those small baits pull decent catches. Don't ever underestimate them.
That grub color is a black body, pink tail, and a black head with yellow eye jig head. 1/16 oz jig. That thing is now in my top 5 go to-s when I'm not catching anything. I'm getting a few creature baits after seeing the success with the swim bait.
Yea those hooks are thin and you gotta be careful, I agree. I've been surprised how well my catches have stayed on at certain points. If you've never tried small creature baits and swim baits, I urge you to try. It's a lot of fun!
Nice Alex! Small swim baits get the job done.
Nice bass on the tiny bait. Really cool.
The regular ball head jigheads like you are using are far superior on micro setups like that vs the ones with bait holders that just destroy lures in my opinion
Great video,keep em coming ππ»π―
Man you are catching some nice bass this year. That little gill got out of dodge like he was running from the law…LOL
Alex i'm jealous, had some fun did you, wtg!!!
Your lowlight worked fine( bass#3) I love playing with small lures/light line just to see what will happen. You had a fun time. ππ£ππ£
All great fish!!
Awesome results from those little swim baits.
That was cool. I like micro fishing.
So much fun to watch! Bass season doesn't open in Ontario till the end of June, so until then I'm going to try to get in on some of this bluegill action. π
Great video for all levels of Anglers. You caught some good looking fish with small hooks and baits. Thanks!!! KiR!!!
You should try gummy worms. It's basically a Manns flavored worm. Biodegradable and won't hurt the fish if full on eaten.
I dont have luck throwing small lures like that for bass or bluegill, but nice to see them working for you.
3 hours and not even a nibble π tried the baby brush hog, finesse worm, and live night crawlers. Not a single bite or nibble. Lots of turtles bobbing around tho.
This helps.
Ive been trying to get back into fishing. Especially for bluegill bit i sick so bad its discoiraging. Ive quit for over a decade only because i suck. Lol
Small baits are deff the way to go in certain situations. People think you need giant baits to catch big fish but you'd be surprised how many giant bass crappie fisherman have caught on tiny jigs. Great show and material brother
Fun evening of fishing, with some really nice catches,on the tiny swimsuits ! Always exciting to see them wake on your bait too , thanks for sharing Alex π£π
Sometimes I'll be crappie fishing, and the bass hit the small stuff more than the crappie. Really cool how a smaller bait can trigger a bite.
Small swimbaits are a large part of my fishing arsenal. The big fish love little baits.
ππ»π I love micro swimbaits. π£
Iβve always wondered about the smaller swim baits and wondered if they were just as good for fishing. After watching this video, and seeing that you caught bass with your setup, Iβm definitely trying this setup. Thanks for the informative video
Love the video. Iβm going to try a small swim bait in my local lake this week. Thanks for always bringing the great content!! Greetings from AK Fishing, where fishing is Always Kool!
It's funny how sizing down can produce in small lakes like that. Subtle is better sometimes. It's also funny how you have found FREAKING Alabama rigs hung up on logs in that lake LOL… I would say you have quite the edge over the other people that fish that spot…
I love happy Payne β€
Those small baits are fun to fish with, they catch everything.
Thank you for some great ideas. I love the sound of your drag. I always enjoy your videos, and you caught a bunch of fish!π£πππ
