I put the hook in the bubble end of the TRD first. only because when it finally starts to slip down the hook (after 10 huge bass), Then I turn the worm around to the smooth end and its like having a brand new TRD worm hahaha :):):):)
What the heck ! I basically fished this before by accident. I used just a standard jig head and used the end of a senko and fished it somewhat slowly during late winter. Caught tons of fish. Good stuff man.
I caught a 5 pound bass on this ned rig yesterday I swear to god
How many inches did you cut the worm to be
nice tips
Will this work for small rock bass?
Great Video Brother!
Any tips for non clear water fishing
How long is ur fluorocarbon leader? And good video love that rig
Is that a decent small mouth rig? Bass around here is 70/30 Small mouth / Large mouth and I like rigs that has a chance at both.
do you have to use the ned rig jig head?
Hey bro why don't you do a collab with like 1rod1reel or fishing the Midwest ?

Hey cole!! Nice vid!! This is Gabe, the rad 10 pounder slayer!! Sorry, it won't work for this weekend because we have to go to a funeral in NY. But just txt me and we can make plans!!! Did you guys get any at the pits??
Love the Ned Rig! But I disagree on shaking being important — I get bit most often by doing literally nothing! I just let it fall and sit as long as I can stand it, and then lift and move and do it again. The Ned more than finesse — it's the perfect opposite of "power fishing" and goes against every bass fishing impulse. Most people can't believe it until they do it.
Awesome video very informative!
The Zoom TuRD hehe
What baits do you recommend to use on the Mitchell 300 pro combo?
was the video filmed recently
What size shimano is that?
What knot do you use from your leader line to your main line?
You can also split the tail to make it more twitchy
after I commented, I read others, see what I mean?
your a very good instructor. while I'm totally in awe of the new elastatechย stuff, so much of what you show is just repurposed old school baits. "ned rig"???? this is what guys have done forever when they get low on their plastics at the end of the day. you get bit, the tails gone, and you rig it like a grub if that's all you have left? not being sarcastic at all, just noting a trend with new lures mimicking what's been around, especially since the sixties being sold to younger guys who think it's a new concept, but costs way more. guess it's a pet peeve. maybe, if you really want to educate new cats to fishing, you could learn about older lures, and how todays lures mimic them. just a suggestion my friend, you know I've followed your success for quite sometime now, so there are no animosities. good luck!
Can u use a shaky head
dab
Good video buddy!
I think it's more like a neko rig in terms of finesse. Personally my favorite technique and way to catch Bass..
Throw a jerk bait that usually works when something unfreezes
Nice video! I gota give that a try. I feel like it would be good in the heat of the summer.
Ned rigging…never try that technique before. Great ned rigging lesson& learn, thanks!!!
