One way I like to describe why bass are tight to cover in muddy water is by relating it to when you're in a dark room. You aren't going to want to stand in the middle of the room with no point of reference. You're going to want to find the nearest wall or STRUCTURE to come into contact with so that you can figure out what your position is in the world. Same goes with our beloved bass and any other living organism who's senses are impaired by the environment. They'll want to figure out where they are, and establish comfort within that position until conditions clear up, or whatever is impairing their vision, or positioning senses clears up.I just thought I'd drop this little gem for you and my other fishing friends. When you went down to Bienville for the winter, I almost stopped watching your channel because I wasn't learning much of anything that I felt was applicable to me. Private waters–especially in Florida–are simply unrealistic for 90% of us. I loved your old videos on Clarks Hill and a lot of the new ones at other PUBLIC venues. You are one of the best fishing mentors on YouTube, but I just feel you will end up helping the most people by sticking to scenarios that are accessible to the largest % of viewers. You got me started on youtube bass fishing videos years ago, with videos just like this one. Also being from NorCal, I liked the Matt Allen reference. I also watched that video where he was talking about spinnerbait blades, it made sense. Keep it up.

They give me nothing so this is genuine… They are nearly impossible to get hung up. They have a video pulling it through a chain link fence. I really like all the colors they offer too. Made right here in SW Missouri. Tight lines bro!
