How to fish Keitech swim baits for bass – Dean Silvester

The Keitech swing impact has been a major player in my bass tournament results in the last couple of years, i explain why i use it so much and how versatile this lure is.

I am confident i can catch bass in any lake at any time of year just by changing the size of the swing impact and or the size of the jig head.

My favorite colors are the lime chart and sight flash.

The Keitech swing impact has a lot of vibration and can be fished with little to no action at all, however i will still impart some action to get a bite if i feel its necessary.

Go to rig is a Quantum Smoke 25 on a 7 foot Dobyns Champion extreme in 701, 702, or 703 depending on jig head size. I run Sunline PE EGI ULT in 0.8PE on all my set ups as well as Sunline FC Sniper Invisible leader in either 8 or 10lb.

Dean Silvester, commonly referred to as Hollywood by most Queenslanders, I live in Brisbane Qld working full time as an Electrical Engineer.

I am the only angler to win Professional Bass Tournaments across all three Eastern states, as well as the only angler to win a BASS Nation AOY title and BASS Championship in the same year.
I was ranked No.1 in Australia from 2013-17 inclusive and the only Angler who has won across all three tournament species at the Pro level in Australia (Bass, Bream and Barramundi). My overall record includes a further 32 top five places and 26 top ten places.

My goal now is to take on the US BASS circuit and eventually qualify to compete in the BASSMASTER ELITE SERIES
