  1. Thanks for the info. I’m back to bass fishing after a 25 year hiatus fishing saltwater. I was shocked to see these type lures. They didn’t exist, at least up North, in the 80’s and 90’s when I was fishing tournaments. Can’t wait to try these baits and your tutorials really help.

  2. Board weights are another great way to adjust the depth of a swimbait. Zappa makes great board weights. The best part is that you can stick them on when you need to, and peel them off when you want to fish higher in the water column.

  3. You forgot to mention to the “Old timers” you also running Live Scope “targeting” plus size fish with a weighted glide. You’re right the regular old timer not running a $10K electronics setup. Love ya bro!! lol

  4. If you like weighting your glides check out Willie Peet’s custom baits glide. I’ve thrown about a dozen brands and it’s become my top favorite glide. Great chop and glide. With a place to put tungsten putty and wrap the hooks

  5. Do you slow down your big glides, 250s and up, as the water temp decreases or do you find most success still fishing them fast? Lost a 6-7 today doing exactly what you said in flooded cover and I'm itching to go back

  6. Great video Austin. You told them the truth. It works. Put a lot of 5th kickers in the boat for me this year when nothing else would work. Lead wire helps also. Enjoy your journey boss😁👍💯

  7. Not a Scoper or a big glide fisherman yet, But we fished Lake Phelps in Eastern NC this past weekend. Super clear shallow depression lake so you can see everything. Friday we fished all day saw no life, caught no fish and it sucked.. picked up the big glide right before we left and it drew 3-6lbers on several different spots we fished on, and we marked them, but they would never commit to it. We came back Saturday & Sunday with senkos and fished very slow and we waxed them 💯💯..So now I see the big glides are far more than just tools to catch fish, the original live scope because without them we would have never found those fish..

  8. This is good stuff, man. I've been experimenting with the DRT baits lately, and I get a lot of eats on the "dead walk," so basically fishing it like a jerkbait, and in glide mode, fishing it a couple feet below the surface walking it hard with pauses every 3-5 cuts.
