I’m constantly being asked the question,”What’s the number one way to catch a bass?”I tell them that it’s plastic worm fishing. So often they say that they miss a lot of bass when they worm fish! I counter, “with the proper technique and equipment you can be better than 90% efficient with your plastic worm fishing”. In this video I’ll explain and show you the tips and tricks that I’ve used to set BASS tournament records that should greatly improve your worm fishing!

Thank you for once again teaching and talking Texas Rig worm fishing. I love it !
👍🏼
I ve been reading “Roland Martińs Bass Catching Secrets” for 5 years now. and Im still learning with these videos. And I always am a “line watcher.”
Roland. You out did yourself! This is the BEST explanation ever. My six year old Grandson likes fishing but he loves your videos. Can you do a video of when you just use straight braid ( your 50 pound) versus a leader with the braid? We are mainly fishing Missouri farm ponds. We will appreciaste your thoughts.
Great tips!!
Hi Roland. Slight change of subject here. I wonder if you used those direct drive reels from yesteryear? I have a few reels and rods that I had an idea to fish plastic worms, probably from shoreline near vegetation on the local water control ponds. Any demonstration from the pro? Thanks.
Great tips
Great advice!
Great advice. Thank you!
Great information!! Thank you Roland. Im a bank fisherman in the north midwest. Im going to have to throw a worm more often.
Roland, I love the “bass takes worm and runs, might mean there are more bass there” that my friend is fishing gold!!!
I grew up fishing Texas rigged worm, but have put it down for the past few years. I am gonna pick it back up.
Go get’em Mr. Martin, you sure do make it exciting to watch. Much respect to you and your fishing family 👍🏻
I need to go back to roots and keep it simple on Plastic Worm – Definitely will try this tip out
Not sure if fall might be too late up here North side for worms, but could always try
Very wise and very generous with his time. Im grateful.
Been a fan for 45 years. I enjoy your videos , Roland. Thank you 👊🏼

Thanks Mr. Martin for sharing your knowledge!!!
Always great tips. I’ve definitely used them through the years. Thank you and keep em coming!! 🇺🇸
If I had to fish with one lure the rest of my life it would be a plastic worm.
Brother you still teach me new things every time.. I hope you and your family are safe from all hurricanes!
Great advice! Thanks Mr.Martin!
Roland can you do a video on pressured lakes sluggish fish… such as high fishing some different tips please… love your stuff
Great info as usual, hope to see you at headwaters in March. Looking forward to it. I'll be sure to use your lessons there!
"around the boat alot of things happen" 😆
You are my "go to" guy for fishing. I just bought a used copy of your "One Hundred & One Bass-Catching Secrets" (Autographed in 1988 (with "Bass Wishes").
I will never learn even 1/4 of the knowledge you put into that book in my lifetime. Imagine the world's best sharing all his "secrets" to help improve the sport, I can't think of many men that would do that.
Your videos are great, but the book is even better.
Thank you and God Bless.
I have been listening and learning from Roland since the 1980's you rock buddy 💪🏻 keep it going 👍🏻🎣
Looking good Roland.
thanks for all the info you give us.
Good stuff Roland. Keep teaching
