I had to learn the hard way. I use to price shop for my baits but I struggled to catch fish. Once I tried a swim bait packaged in a clam shell, oh boy, game.

I will literally open 10 bags to find the howoever mamy qty comes in a bag to find the good ones. I do that for all baits especially swimbaits. Most companies put them in good BUT THE DIST. PUTS TIGHT RUBBER BANDS AROUND THE BAGS…. WHY I DONT KNOW,.I CANNOR STAND BENT UP BAITS

Interesting! Didn’t know the tail has to be perfectly straight. A lot of companies like Zoom uses regular plastic packaging, and I was able to catch fish anyway, I think bass as a predator trying to eat something what have issues, same like wolves go for wounded or ill prey.
