Suspended Bass can be difficult to catch. The key to getting them to bite is having the right lure in the strike zone for the right amount of time. One of my favorite techniques to catch suspended Largemouth Bass is by using a weightless Fluke, or soft plastic jerkbait. While the word “Fluke” is a branded term from the Zoom Bait Company, they’re often referred to as soft plastic jerkbaits. I am one of the co-owners of CPF Lures. I remember years ago when the only public ramp was near the post office. The new ramp angered many rich people out there. Rumors were the ramp was put in at an unnecessary steep angle, and parking is at a distance. There's good bassin' there. It gets too crowded on weekends.
