How do you fish a pond that has a lot off moss ? Every cast I bring moss back and it’s very annoying and I’ve tried spinner baits, chatter baits worms and jigs and still pull up moss

You keep saying in several videos that you use lead weights for your texas rigs when you are on the river, but not tungsten or other types of weights. I understand why you would use cheaper tackle while river fishing, I river fish and lose baits frequently. However, you seem to emphasize, frequently, how you use lead weights while river fishing. New to bass fishing here. So you want to have that bait hitting the bottom generally? Or is that dependent on the type of bait you're using?
I find baitcasters difficult to use. I have been forcing myself to use mine in the hopes of getting better but it’s just causing me FRUSTRATION! Can you give some tips on masterbating the baitcaster? I use mine for bass fishing.
