This video will show you my approach when searching for big bass in the Summer. I look for deep water ledges, humps, creeks, drop-offs, and brush piles. I use a 1/2 oz. Dirty Jig to help me locate the deep water spots and then follow up with a 12 inch Junebug worm. This is the pattern I use every Summer and it continues to produce giant bass. Stay tuned to the end of the video when the gator wants to eat the bass we are hooked up to.

  1. I added some of those worms to my cart because the bass have disappeared from the bank. I'm fishing from the bank, so getting deep is tough, but I'm going to try to whip one of those way out to the middle of the very small lake I fish. I'm enjoying your fishing lake being built by the way. I look forward to seeing it finished

  2. I use basic black and crawdad 7.5 inch Culprit worms and do very well . I'm going to get myself some 12 inch worms and move out deeper like you said , big bait = big fish , some people use crank baits and spinner baits in big n deep water and I guess that works but I have confidence in plastic worms and white medium soft swim bait and bubble gum floating trick worm for top water , I just like worms . I use 3/0 hook but do I need a bigger hook for bigger worm and fish and what size rod do you like for big deep bass on big worms ? thanks for the great video and info

  3. I will be fishing this worm everyday until I catch a trophy. I just lost a big one today, didn't set the hook right and almost broke my wrist. I will catch that GIANT
