All you have to do with better hookups on frogs is make sure the gap netween hooks is 3/4" and turn the hooks in 15 degrees youll land them every time as it gets smashed you have to do this more througout super secret

I always have a problem with hook sets with a frog. I got hit 6 timss and missed them every time
Yes, it is possible to still catch bass in the summer heat!! I am in Florida and it is 100 heat index. Went fishing this morning around 8am and caught two nice bass using green pumpkin worm, Texas rigged! The key as Mike said, cast and let the lure go all the way down deep in the water. Caught a 12" and 15" bass this morning and was surprised because of how hot is was outside!! Have fun Y'all and happy fishing!!
I Always love to throw a big worm in the summer it's accounted for the biggest fish I've caught over the years in the summer

Do you guys fish water where there are alligators? We have dams here in South Africa that has crocodiles, similar to alligators. We must be carefull. Some dams have hippopotamus as well and the can get very agressive.

You've got it covered once again. It's like your reading from my playbook. And Jersey is a honey hole for some sizeable bass. No one ever talks about it, but I've pulled six & seven pounders out of it's waters. Don't get out that way much anymore, but I know where to go when I do.
