Kinda missing fishing new lakes, so Billy and I headed down south to fish Chickahominy lake a couple hours away. This place is awesome…tons of grass, cypress trees, and it’s a relatively shallow fishery compared to most places I’ve been fishing lately so it was nice to get on a skinny water bite.
The night before we realized there was a Tuesday night tournament as well, so our plan was to fish all day, take a lunch break and then fish the tournament in the afternoon. That video will be up in a couple of days, but I can definitely say the pre fishing paid off.

how do you fish those chatterbaits? Looks like you were slow rolling it sort of?

Nothing like being out there that early.
I'll be the 1st to admit I have a hard time changing baits. I feel like it takes time away from fishing but can be the ticket to catching that 1 big fish. Any tips on when or why I should change baits?
