How I fish the pads for bass. Kayak bass fishing.

Spring Bass fishing during the spawn on a beautiful day. All the fish on this day were caught on a weightless worm. This is my favorite technique this time of year and is very cheap. Even if you buy the worms and don’t pour them yourself it is still one of the cheaper ways to bass fish. Buy a pack of worms go fish for a day.

This lake is my lunker lake. One year I caught a 5 pounder and a 6 pounder back to back and I’ve had many trips with multiple 5 pounders. This location has far fewer of the 1-1.5 pounders that I catch on other lakes and they’re mouths are all smaller than other lakes. This suggests they are getting a lot of food.

Overall a very calm relaxing day of kayak bass fishing in Washington state.
