How I Finally Caught a BASS! Summer Bass Fishing Conditions

With these difficult summer bass fishing conditions, this is finally how I caught a bass. When I first got to the fishing spot, it wasn’t raining yet. But I knew the rain was coming, so I quickly started fishing with a black plastic worm. I got caught in a downpour of rain an ran back to the car and left for a while. After the rain stopped I got back to fishing but it was getting dark. I didn’t catch anything on the tiny swimbait, but I finally caught my first bass in a week! It was caught on the same Culprit Worm I started with. Hopefully this video inspires you to get out and catch a bass. #realistic #fishing

  1. Nice! Glad you where able to get into one. Been rough as hell here too lately, and stupid hot. Got a few nice drop shot Bass during the day over the past couple weeks, but most of my success has been early morning on the Jitterbug. Been getting some great blowups fishing Frogs during that morning shift as well, but I haven't mastered that hook set yet. Hopefully it'll all come together for me tomorrow 🎣

  2. I don't know what it is
I mostly fish spinning reels that I side cast and overhead cast even jig flipping. But with bait casters I can only side cast. Every time I cast overhead with light baits I usually get a birds nest heavy plugs I'm pretty good I know it how you set it but it seems it's a timing thing to
Lot of fishermen around here don't use bait cast so I can't get tips from anyone

  3. Yep, fishing is super tough, I caught a nice bass yesterday and then had one today but lost it. When the water is warm, biting surely slows down, but I won't give up. πŸ‘

  4. Sup Alex, first hope personal things getting taken care of, the casting from 20-30' before pond works very well . When rains it's cover or soaked. So hot been lot night fishing, rat is working well right now. You got one grinding out, culpret worm too. Tyvm tc 🎣

  5. I've been going through the same thing but it's been more like a month for me. It's my own fault because I got my first fly rod a month ago so I've been spending most of my time untangling line and trying to get my flies out of trees (and bushes and weeds and blades of grass and bridge railings and power lines). Well, last night I finally got a bass on a weighted jig head with a spinning reel… kind of… he got loose right at the shore and the jig head caught in some weeds and when I pulled it free it launched directly into my face. But at least I got to see a bass jumping around on my line for a few seconds. It was heartbreakingly realistic.

  6. Today seemed slow after the remnants of the hurricane passed through Ohio last night. I still caught 6. I had to go finesse and use the shakey and wacky. I tried a new color out. Zoom Plum Apple Trick worm! I got 4 on that and missed a nice one. I'd recommend that color!
