This is how I catch my biggest bass of the Year, and I did it from the bank! Want to catch big bass from the bank? I hope this video can inspire you to try a few casts in tricky spots, like under trees. I pitched a soft plastic craw under a tree a few times, then BAM! I catch a big bass! I also catch a few smaller bass later on in the morning that proves all sizes of bass like the plastic crawfish. You CAN catch big bass from the bank! I just caught my biggest bass of the year under a tree right next to the bank.

Net bait makes great soft plastics durable and catch bass ! It's the only plastic I buy besides zoom !
That's exactly how I fish. Texas rigged creature or stick bait. And EVERY TIME I think I've got a bite and set the hook. I'm really just setting my hook HARD on a stick, log, rock, or whatever else is down there and have to cut my line. I've been out about 6 times so far since April started and 0 catches.
Starting to get a little discouraged I must say. I can FEEL the bottom and what I'm dragging on and I'm getting better at knowing what's grass, rocks, gravel, sand, mud, etc. etc. But yet everytime I feel it pull like I've got a bite….. SNAGGED UP EVERY TIME! 😣😫😭😭😭

Late to comment but one thing that took me a long time to learn when bank fishing was to not cast out in the middle of the lake or whatever. But closer to the bank like you're doing.
