An unseasonably warm 80-degree spring day in Central/Southern Maine turned into one of my best kayak fishing trips yet. I headed out to a small hidden pond expecting a few standard spring bites, but instead, ended up landing an absolute 5lb trophy largemouth bass on a wacky-rigged Senko.
