  1. My son and I got to meet him at the last mlf tournament we went to. He is a super nice guy. Took pics with my 9yr old and signed a couple items as he gave him tips.

  2. Yeah def an incredible day. It mightve been called something different but i had no idea they were using live scope back in those days. IMO its straight up cheating. I mean hes sitting there looking at those monster bass and all he had to do was figure out which bait was gonna work the best

  3. I happen to know a girl that's Paul's niece and she is, and I'm not exaggerating here, one of the most beautiful girls on planet earth. and good as gold to boot. she said Paul is a great guy.

  4. Watching this in 2021 while I’ve been in a slump. Weighed in maybe 13-15 lbs for 5. in my last few tournaments. I need me a 30 lb sack to go ahead & get back in the right mind of things. Listening to him say “ I only had 20-22 lbs for my first 5 “ made me laugh. I’d love to have that lol

  5. and he did this without spot-lock and livescope. I met Paul and several of the old timers at a PAA tournament here on Cherokee Lake back around 2010, really nice guys. Shaw Grigsby was awesome and went out of his way to talk to fans. I was glad I went to the weigh-in because fans would be standing beside the anglers while they were at the water tanks, taking pics and just visiting.

  6. Rod Crawford! Almost broke the record string of Bass for real…237pounds for 20 bass! The record still stands at 240 pounds of a

string of bass. Came that close, my Brother's and myself on a spring morning March 8th 1987, our fish came from a place pretty close to where the record was set at Ocklawaha River. Monsters lurk there! What really made it all worth talking about is we returned everyone of the fish back to the exact spot She was caught. Memories last forever…
