Michael Neal came out swinging, finishing each period atop SCORETRACKER® and extending his lead to the point where for a while it was more than the second- and third-place anglers’ totals combined. Ultimately, he finished with 75 pounds, 14 ounces on 26 scorable bass – more than 28 pounds ahead of second-place and more than 50 pounds clear of the elimination line. Meanwhile, a single scorable bass is all that separates eighth-place’s Fred Roumbanis (24-9) and ninth-place angler Dave Lefebre (23-2).
