  1. In all my years of fishing, I have caught exactly ZERO fish on a frog. Like the jerkbait, I’m sure there is some user error, but I’ve never even gotten a bite!! I just don’t think I have enough grass in my lakes for them to be effective. I still have one tied on and I will try it again in the next few weeks, but I’m not holding my breath.

  2. Randy, I live in the PNW 20 miles from the Pacific ocean and most lakes around here are small. I fish a frog all year long and I do pretty well with it. I will change frogs and or colors lake by lake to keep catching them. Cover or open water, they work either way for me. I love frog fishing the most out of any other method I fish. Topwater Junkie for life!
