Hartwell Tourney Recap (Mid May Flippin Bite)

The next stop on the Hobie Bass Open trail takes us to Lake Hartwell down south. I won a big tournament here on Hartwell last year, so I had a bit of confidence going in. With a few different patterns going on, I decided to cater to my strengths and go up river for big largemouth. This tourney was FULL of highs and lows. Hope yall enjoy!

  1. “I’m really tickled” 🤣🤣🙏🏾🎣 best part of the videos are those conversations with “pah” I love how he’s your #1 fan he stays on top of watching that leader board lol. You should get him in a video fishing together. Is gr the reason you fish today??

  2. Kristine, everybody can have an off day and sometimes things off the water can really mess with you on the water. Just keep your PMA handy as much as possible, and talk to Pa as much as possible (heck, I’d call him from the kayak sometimes if I were you!).
You’ve got lots of people who love you & are rooting for you. Don’t lose sight of that, no matter what the standings are at any given time.

  3. I can remember when I started following you I think you had about 1000 sub's at the time. As always I love your video's and enjoy watching your fishing adventures and how hard you have worked to get where you are now. Keep up the hard work and enjoying what you love so much! As I have said before you are a great inspiration to so many including myself look foward to the next video!

  4. When you’re moving to a new spot throw out a crankbait and troll. I’ve caught several bass over the years doing this. It provide you with an opportunity to catch something instead of just pedaling

  5. Hartwell is a great fishery but a little tough on a kayak. It's one big lake with lots of dead water but where the fish are the fishing is good. Better for a bass boat IMO.

  6. Unlucky some times we all have a learning day rather than a bag up day ! Keep your chin up and you will have a big bag on the next one.
It would be great to see you and #anglerash out in your kayaks in a tournament if there are any in Nebraska
