you must be using polarized lenses cause i went frame by frame an i didnt see a wake or anything from this bass as he smashed your lure..
your lure was there then a big mouth was where your lure used to be lol… that water is so dam murky it is as bad as the RED River whish flows through my city of Wienerpeg

Just a thought. Try waiting about 2 seconds to start reeling in. Bass love to investigate an object that just fell on top of the water. Some people throw it in and start reeling in and the fish don’t care about it anymore, cause it’s “out of sight, out of mind” . The fisherman just pulled their dinner cart away too soon, now they don’t care anymore. I had both Largemouth and Smallies in my fish tanks and this is how they did things. Don’t forget, when you throw something on the top of the water, they look, then they need to swim up and investigate. They are much like dogs.
westin is a Danish company, probably designed with pike in mind. ive seen them for sale here in Norway 20-22$ a piece and shipping to the states is stiff sadly
