  1. In California you can’t a pond for yourself on your own property without an act of congress. California should have been building dams and lakes for the last 40 years. The politicians Randy supports are the ones preventing any new water projects!!

  2. What a hypocrite..well dumb dumb why dont you run for Congress, build a lake, that only you can fish, dont use a boat or any electronics but use todays technology to have your podcast and try and sell us what you catch them on..at least you can finally win again and quit crying..

  3. The snake has bitten its tail. Now it will swallow itself. Technology will lead to tougher fishin- which leads to even more technology – Your children will be priced right out of the water. Garmin will just make weapons to destroy them. Fishing will be reserved for ultra wealthy only. All because you are too lazy to learn how to catch fish that you cant see on a screen. (Because you dont even like fishing) May God have mercy on our sorry ass souls.

  4. I understand and thank you for the concern… BUT… I think you are full of crap on this situation… you were and are part of the problem… I agree with you on FFS during tournaments… but you’re comments are like a whale hunter back in the early 1900’s trying to save whales in later years… you made your money doing what you now preach against 😳… just my thoughts… thanks for the content but just my thoughts…

  5. Randy, you and I are best buddies, amigos, stewards of the environment ‘til the end. You’re just a bit shy when it comes to talking about toxic lead in fishing tackle. I’m here for you if you ever need to talk.

  6. Thank you for sharing Randy. Its so ironic you are discussing this today. Every lake around here (in my part of the country) for over a 100 miles are jammed packed every weekend with at least 2 tournaments running every Saturday and Sunday. Then you have the 3 hour tourni's on Tuesdays and Thursdays… Also, I notice anglers really tend to be super rough when handling these bass and they have no clue how to phys them correctly in the live-wells (temp, oxygen, etc). Then 20 years later, everyone is standing around saying how the fishing is not what it used to be…

  7. I agree and i wish I wish but…..100 tournaments on Lake of the Ozarks in June alone. they are literally round the clock now….its devastating. Problem is this all comes down to money. the local businesses want 100 tournaments a month. On building more lakes, we can't even keep up with our national infrastructure. What would 100s of 20 acre lakes cost? I wish we could have it …our country is so broken down and in debt new lakes is a pipe dream. I wish it was different. LS is making its dent now… Alabama is cutting crappie limits on the Big 4 Grenada, Sardis etc. , Truman is running out of crappies over 12"

  8. Well since our brilliant Fed Gov is bringing in 3 million immigrants a year, guess what, the future is bleak. We are doomed. Our environment will be degraded and decline and disintegrate fast. And with a bad economy the state DNRs will be hamstrunG and will not be able to maintain our fisheries. Good bye to the good old days.

  9. The USA population has doubled in my lifetime since the 1950s 1960s , and the overall fishing pressure is probably.at least 5 times more. There are too many tournaments. Too many anglers are keeping way too many quality bigger fish. The electronics give the angler a huge advantage over the fish. Plus there is lake development pollution, lakes are aging, cover and structure is disappearing and our nation overall is not protecting and preserving our fisheries as well as it should. There appears to be no answer.

  10. I say..LIMIT THE NUMBER OF TIMES AN INDIVIDUAL CAN GO FISHING IN A YEAR! Don’t regulate us who get to fish 4 or 5 times a year! We don’t get enough fish usually to make a daily limit. It’s the ones who get to fish practically every day (with or without livescope) that kills the population!

  11. Oh really? Pass it on to the next generation? So when are you going to stop selling, sponsoring and using toxic lead In your fishing tackle? What, if any, Small step have you committed to?

  12. Ranting and cursing about what is environmentally wrong with the risk of sustainability of the sport of Bass fishing and the environment as whole talking about clean water and clean air is all fine and good. If all you want to do is put up a catchy title to your rants and complaints just so we will watch your videos… What are you doing to put boots on the ground? Are you putting people together to address the issues that your passionate about? Are you organizing and putting things in place? Or are you just ranting about being a unapologetic environmentalist? FYI… You have to have the "political people" to address those issues we are passionate about. How do you get the algea blooms to go away? How do you get the little plastic pipes to stop dumping pollution in the lakes and rivers? Just asking??
