Group spears big bass.

This body camera video shows a wildlife officer approaching a group of campers. The officer is investigating the sound of gunshots coming from the area. The officer notices holes in all the fish, indicating a speargun was used to harvest the fish. Florida and Peacock bass are “game fish” and can’t be harvested with a speargun. The officer confiscated all the bass but gave them back the Tilapia. The couple speared 7 Peacock Bass and 1 Florida Bass. The couple is charged for spearing game fish and being over the limit for Peacock Bass. The couple will appear before a judge and face fines from $500 to $1,000.
