  1. You start by saying this lure is heavily based on a Japanese Lure, both in design, shape and feel, yet it wins an I-Cast award… sorry but that's Fked up. What lure did Berkley copy in this instance as they have just done it again to a small Australian company. Holt Productions makes the Swim Prawn which catches everything in Australia and Berkley just ripped off it's design to make the Berkley Gulp Shrimp. This company has no integrity and the fact that they win an award with a ripped off product does not sit well with me and a lot of Australians who are pissed off with this company.

  2. I picked up a pack of the 110mm size in HD Pumpkin seed. They look amazing, but out of the pack smelled like nail polish remover mixed with powerbait scent. Took me a while to get it to swim right. The 3/0 weightless setup seems to work best for me + a nail weight. I tried a jig head, but it completely killed the action. I havent gotten any bites on it yet, so I cant speak to the durability issues some others have mentioned.

  3. The gilly looks good very similar to the Imakatsu Javagill which I have used in both the 90 and 110mm sizes and have caught many dinks and donks. They aren’t the easiest bait to rig but the action is amazing definitely the most natural moving swimbait that I’ve seen

  4. Looks amazing 🤩 I'm getting some now. Thanks for the video and the hook tips 😊🤝🏼 Steve have a great 4th brother 🍻✌🏼🙂ohhh love the outro had me 😭. Ok now im out ✌🏼😁

  5. Bless you safe happy holiday. TKS for vid..nose hook like live bàit buy spring to hold hook in nose of bàit..and hang on! Odd these baits catch all sizes. 10" Bass seem to love um as much as the big girls.

  6. I bought some of those baits and they are like you it takes a little time to get use to .I have used them I one bass tournament so far here in Oklahoma in our local bass club north okc Bassmasters. They seem like in certain situations that they will catch fish. I been listening and watching on this channel and Florida fishing radio. God Bless and get your fishing on.

  7. I've just bought 2 packs,I just got my 90mm size pumpkin seed (I'm going with 2/0 EWG),and waiting for my 110mm sunfish…Thanks for the video Steve! 👍🏻

  8. This is the real deal. If you can find them, they catch fish!! As you said, they are hard to rig. Most success here was to do a line through a straw to a treble on the top or bottom half way to the tail.

  9. Good review. The more I see videos of these in action the more I like them. Jay Kumar just had a write-up and a video blurb on it in this past Thursday's BassBlaster newsletter. I need to get some.

  10. I’ve been wanting to try them since they came out and won Icast. Do they swim well at slower speeds? I still haven’t received the 2 swimbaits and the 2 jerkbaits I won in the Christmas giveaway you did. You said you had to do a pool review of them .

  11. Man Steve, great view of the Gilly. I am really looking forward to perfecting the rig and putting these to work! They look awesome. Thanks Steve-Cheers.
