Who are some of the best fisherman and anglers on the Bassmaster Elite Series field who have NOT won a event in their careers? Which B.A.S.S. Elite anglers are winless during their careers fishing the Bassmaster Elite Series? Do they have a chance to hoist one of the incredible blue Bassmaster Elite trophies in their lifetimes? Here’s seven anglers, at the top of their game who fish professionally every year who have not won a tournament event since joining the Elites.

Definitely rooting for John Cox, he’s funny, and entertaining. He deserves to hold that blue trophy 💪🎣
My 1st choice will be Brandon C. and 2nd choice will be John C. The rest of the anglers you mentioned are still competitive, but time has slipped by, and the winning hunger is gone. They still like to collect a paycheck every tournament and they are happy with that.
I got to go with Clark Wendlet. The Texas angler had a great FLW career and can fish anywhere in the us successfully. Just a matter of time
G man! For the win. Clark a close second
You're not great if you can't win. Doesn't matter the organization. And you need to asterisk EVERY Elite win after 2018.
Seriously…Canterberry and Cherry?????
John Cox or Scott Martin in Florida…They've Both have Won multiple Times in Flw, Matter of Time
None of them will. Sorry to say it.
My guess is it’ll be a very young guy before anyone you mentioned. Cox does himself no favors by fishing so many tourneys and circuits. Would love to see him win an Elite. Scott Martin has too many interests outside of tournaments. His best chance is to hope for an Elite on Okeechobee like that Open this year.
I think Cox has the best shot at it. I just think it's a matter of time before he has one of those tournaments that puts him in the winners circle. I like Swindle but I think his best days are behind him. Schultz..I just don't see it happening.
This just shows you how hard it is to win and also makes you admire those that have won and even more admiration for those with multiple wins. Statistically winning is not on anyones side. You have 100 plus anglers fishing 8 tournaments a year, that's not very favorable. I think John Cox has the best chance out of the ones listed. I would give Scott Martin a strong second. I do agree most would like to see Swindle hoist the trophy.
Commented before I watched. I think Cox or Card will win before any others.
G man by a mile. It was great seeing Bill Lowen finally get off this list, now it's G's time. But it getting harder…
John Cox all the way ain't no body better shallow. If he breaks down and uses ffs and learns it shallow its over. But hope he does it with out it have alot of respect for him doing it without it. But I know he's got to be frustrated the way it dominated last 2 years.
Cox for sure, I think Card does too and swindle once before he’s done. I don’t think the others do
Go Steve!🍻💥🎣👌
1st to win Card, Cox, Herren. Martin won't win. I used to watch and pull for him, but he has changed since he started rooming with Arey and Canterbury. I think it has hurt his fishing and attitude… to me he seems to be putting out an air of "I am owed a trophy". In his post Tx analysis he seems to always have an excuse to blame something other than his fishing drive. The G-man is over the hill and won't win, along with Clark and Bernie.
The lakes this year favor shallow fishermen. I would like Brandon to hoist one.
The angler who won Aoy more than most and never hoisted a BASS trophy was Roland Martin, yes before the Elites.
IMO it’s damn near impossible to win a 3 to 4 day event without being a proficient scopeadoper these days. So as long as BASS continues to allow the deer blinders all anglers suggested better get good at the crooked neck screen watchn to have a prayer!
Cox will win one… I'd bet on it…. still a lot of spring events. Martin may not requalify for the Elites after next year. One year he made the classic because of anglers qualifying twice…. so his Elite tour has not been stellar to date. Which is weird because he is so good at FFS. Brandon has a chance… solid angler… FFS doesn't scare him. Clark is a great…. will not win until FFS is removed completely. Matt will not win an Elite event. Bernie will not win an Elite event… unless they were all in NY. (LOL). Swindle missed his chance to win an event… unless FSS is completely removed… he's not relevant in this new era. I love all of these anglers… met them all. Hero's of mine. Good, bad, or ugly…. 10 FFS hammers, both young and old, are qualifying for the Elite series every year. In just two years… a possible 20 elite series anglers may not be in that trail, never mind win an event.
Clark Wedlandt…………………..
I believe John Cox or Clark Wendlant will be next
Scott Martin c
Hey Steve. I would agree that any angler on this list has the potential to hoist a blue trophy.
The one thing that is going against them is time. Some athletes start a point, and then they reach a pinnacle, but how long they hold at that level is different from each person.
But eventually, there is a decline. It seems to go down in stages, not a total drop-off. There are other factors that can lead to a drop-off, like health issues, family responsibilities, and sponsor obligations.
If I had to pick one with the best chance of lifting a blue trophy, it would be John Cox. He has not wavered from his style of fishing. Staying shallow and being I believe the best at what he does. And under the right conditions, he has a real chance. Also, I don't hear him complaining about what the other anglers are doing because he knows he has to beat them at what he does best. You have to respect that.
Let's hope one or more of these guys can get a win before old man time may beat them to it.
Tight lines.
Regards, Steven.
Steve, Like the challenge. I'm going to take a different root. I think FFS will doom them all. While all of them are good or better anglers, then I or many others, that didn't quit our day jobs, that realize our limits. MLF saw this 2 years ago, and took, much criticism, and took action. Reducing the field, is the only way to produce, a good product, is downsizing. Every business that is successful, in the real {reel world} does this. Many people get upset. While everyone of those, you talked about, are nice, fan favorites, wealth of experience. They couldn't compete, or beat KVD, Wheeler, Connell, R. Martin, Parker, NIxon, Jordon Lee, and many others. If, BASS were to reduce their roster, to 80 next year, and 60 the following, many of those mentioned, plus 30 others would be gone. Timing is always, a friend or foe, to all of us. The hard part is to recognize, that the dream is gone, and to move on. Except for the GOAT KVD, he had the dream, and made the dream, and misses the competition, and now enjoying the rewards.
John Cox the dude is a hammer. He has a great attitude and a great guy . No Drama guy
G-Man for the win
Cliff Pace has won a Classic but never an Elite tourney. Andy Morgan hasn’t fished much bass so you could say him as well. I would think best Chances would be Martin and Card.
Hope Swindell. He's had a great career. I've watched him since he started, and I think he'll have one of those tourneys where everything goes right.
Seems as though as the Anglers become content creators and merch salesmen, their focus on winning suffers. I agree with Cox. The whole group are awesome fisherman.
I didn’t have a chance to watch the entire video but the first guy that comes to mind is Roland Martin..
Well John Cox is a lock and I think Scott and Swindell will get there!
Martin or Cox.
Jason Quinn style was awesome flashy fan enthusiast but just never got it done. Love me some Quinn.
I don't think any of them will ever win a trophy electronics has changed the game, and it favors the newer people.
another good one steve !
I think Cox has the best chance of getting the troughy first. He's been close in recent years. Thanks for this platform. To be able to interact and give an opinion on different topics has been enjoyable.
Steve, any of the OG non FFS guys you think jump to NPFL??
Well one easy choice, Swindle and unfortunately with FFS and him not willing to to learn it, I hate to say it…. I think his time has past. Love the content. Will you go over the final elite roster for 2025?
Like Cox.. but i don’t see him or any on your list winning a blue trophy. With current BASS rules, the new ffs guys will dominate again.
Should come as no surprise though.
Would like to see Card snag one.. he may be the only one that has a chance… slim.. but a chance.
Clark will most likely be done. Im guessing he may not even return 2025 to the elites. His email makes me conclude this.
Herren.. always liked him. But im guessing he may be done too. Will be surprised if he even returns for 2025.
Bernie.. one of the OG’s in my book. But im not convinced he will snag a trophy.
Swindle.. he’s a mouth piece. But lacks consistency. Hasn’t been competitive in years.
Just my opinion…
