Great Day of Kayak Bass Fishing – Old Millpond – Knox Landing Fishing Access – Granite Falls, NC
This pond has been on my list to check out for years, but I’ve just never gotten around to it. After a day like this, I’m kind of kicking myself that it’s taken me so long. On this episode, I ventured to Knox Landing AKA Old Millpond in Granite Falls, NC. This is a small 75 acre lake that is only accessible by two small gravel boat ramps. For this reason, it’s ideal for kayakers. It has a lot of natural bank, overhanging trees, laydowns, grass, rock, and bridge, so it provides a variety of cover for fish to hide…and because of it’s small size, everything accessible within a short paddle’s distance. I really enjoyed fishing this place…and the judging from the quality of fish that we caught, I think the fish like it too…
