Ronnie, my fishing partner from LA is an excellent student, catching nearly every bass that bit. Normally, without the proper technique, anglers only catch about 1/3 of the bass that bite a shiner but Ronnie did everything right and hooked up with about 90% of the bass that bit! No giant bass today but we ended up with41 bass for the day with a dozen from 4-6 pounds! A great day on the water!

Shiner fishing is boring and no different then pan fishing with worm and bobber. It’s much more fun to use artificial and the challenges that come with trying to catch them.
