Sometimes those trout will only hit tiny jigs.

Last fall I went fish the bonnabel pier one night, some kids at the end of the pier limited out on keeper specks using 1in curly tail jigs, I tried downsizing to Zman salty Ned rig Shrimp under a popping cork and still struggled to get bites. Came back the next night with various sac-a-lait jigs and only caught a bunch of throw-backs.

Same situation late last summer fishing another pier in Bay St. Louis.
