An Early morning trip to a local lake beats the rush on a Saturday. Chatterbait was the ticket most of the day, but of course the frog produces a good fish also!

Nice trip, I've really been attracted to wind burnt shorelines and weed lines. Notice I've become more of a wind fisherman.
Hi! I did get out the other day and had a good time. I got three 18 inchers, a 17, and lots of smaller ones. I seldom catch more than 1or 2 really nice ones on any given outing so great fun! Most on the Chatterbait, but I got my very first frog bass 🙂 I just never had confidence in it, but early on one of the 18's slammed it in the pads. I'm "hooked". Safe travels to and from Indy. Cheers!
