Tonya and CC are back on the lake for an awesome day of fishing! Come along with the girls on CC’s new bass boat! These two take their bass fishing very seriously, Tonya is throwing a jerkbait and CC is throwing an A-Rig loaded with Keitech swimbaits. They find a school of big ones feeding on shad and load the boat, you don’t want to miss it!
In the midst of catching big bass the girls take the time to share some really key tips for shallow water fishing and dialing in your equipment. CC struggled with the A-Rig in the past but she’s discovered that shortening her leader and making some key reel adjustments has made all the difference. This isn’t just watching women who fish, these girls know what they’re doing and can help you dial in your fishing as well!

Loved watching Matt and Tim’s wives! I recently started taking up fishing THANKS CORONA ! I never thought I would see the day. My husband fishes and hasn’t in a long while so for our 1 year anniversary I told him to break out the poles and tackle and let’s go fishin’ 🎣 literally because there was nothing else to do during these quarantine and social distancing times. We were tired of being in the house and we cook everyday so a nice meal in the house seemed kind of redundant. I’ve never seen his face light up so much when I spoke those words of pure seduction lol! Ever since I have been HOOKED – no pun intended. He is a catfisher but I’m sooooo into bad ass bass . I’ve been watching these videos non stop and even went and bought my very own sexy all black matte rod with silver reel combo 😍 it’s just a beginner Zebco 33. I also bought my 13yr old daughter a lil combo too . but I plan to learn and soak up all this good advice on these videos which for the most part are VERY beginner friendly🙂 great job ladies! Always a pleasure to watch the girls get some time on the water, I learn a little something about retrieves, a lot of times when I take my daughters fishing I learn from them as well, I think the biggest lesson I learn watching girls fish is to remember to make it fun to be on the water, great job girls and loved the video, hope to see more of these !!

Hog farmer – how durable are the wires as been throwing a different brand this year that flexes well but wires breaking too easily…about 1 wire breaking ever 3-4hrs of use.
Curious what connection knot your using? And line ratings? Never heard of being cut by connection knot while casting.

`I noticed that when CC was talking about making adjustments to the reel to prevent backlashes, she had a Curado DC reel. I thought the DC basically eliminated backlashes, and pretty much eliminated the need to thumb the spool? I realize there are setting on the reel, but my understanding was once you had the DC set you could basically bomb your casts. Or was she referring to previous times when she was not using a DC reel?
