Gila River Outlaws June Free-For-All | Lots of Bass, Not Enough Big Ones! 🎣🏆

The Gila River Outlaws June Free-For-All brought plenty of action, but finding quality fish was the challenge of the day. The format was simple: best 5 fish by weight wins.

I caught plenty of smaller bass throughout the tournament, but only two fish were worth logging. Despite covering water and trying to locate the bigger bites, I couldn’t find the fish needed to stay competitive with the leaders.

The winning angler brought in over 15 pounds! Congratulations to the winner—now I need to figure out where those giants were hiding!

Even without the big bites, it was another great day on the Gila River enjoying God’s creation, spending time on the water, and learning more about this fishery.
