My UFO story: One time I was in the outer banks NC in the middle of the winter. I was staying in a cottage with a couple friends, We were the only people in the area (small beach town in the middle of winter). Late at night, we were sitting on the back patio when a bright blue light appears above the clouds, illuminates the sky around it, and then shoots off into the stratosphere. It all happened in the span of about 5 seconds. It made us all feel uneasy. I've tried to think of a rational explanation for it, and I've ruled out just about all of them.
Also not really "UFO" related, but I do a lot of night fishing on a quiet beach here in VA, and have seen some crazy stuff in the sky. Meteorites breaking in half, starlink satellites, the ISS. I wonder how many people see the starlink trains and think they're a UFO.
