I wonder how red or orange would do?
Can you check on lake Belton in Texas? I noted the winter and spring lakes, but no fall maps
Look how good that looks
I've never played with changing the colors of my soft plastics but I like the idea. I caught a redfish this morning on a Z Man shrimp with a chartreuse tail and greyish body. I noticed that the tail really stuck out in the water with about 1' of visibility and I think it helped the fish find it, along with some ProCure.
Last night I caught a redfish, a couple grey trout and a flounder on glow in the dark Gulp jigs with orange tails. I don't know if the orange makes any difference or if it's just the glow, but I caught more than anyone else around me. I'd like to get chartreuse and orange dye for my soft plastics to see if they help. I usually use Gulp or Z Man soft plastics and I'm not sure if they'll take the dye like regular soft plastics.
Thanks Randy for the subtle modification ! You’re so right about confidence !
Thanks Randy! I can definitely see how this would get me more strikes. I appreciate you……..
