Walk Smith shares some great tips on how muddy water can be an advantage and also lead to bigger fish catches with the understanding of how fish move around and position in dingy water.

Nice!
Muddy water and cover, my fisherman’s wet dream…. no pun
Used the shallow water trick this morning and caught a one right next to the shoreline
I love bass fishing
Is that a pond
I have learned so much from Walker & Jason, heck the entire staff. Thanks guys!!
What about topwater in muddy water?
Another awesome video. Thank you so much guys!
Finally someone that explains how to catch fish and actually does
Another awesome tutorial Walker. Going to try this multiple cast concept and believe they are in there.
“I sunk a…” 😱
“..there’s a sunken tree down there” 🤔
😂😂😂
Great video, very informative.
I’m new to bass fishing…learning a lot on your channel and others!! My question is are you bouncing that bait off the bottom during your retrieve or keeping it suspended in water below surface?? Sorry if I sound ignorant!
Very helpful
He is a very good teacher about explaining this, when he said look for rocks or heavy cover because they look for structures to feel there way through I subscribed right there
My brothers pond looks like chocolate milk year round its so dark the bass have hardly any color to them almost white and i cant get them to chase anything hardly I will try this. Great video
Is the black and/or blue your favorite color in muddy water?
Are you tryin ' to tell me you don't know how to make use of your lateral line to get yourself out of a smoke filled room?
Reminds me of Sinclair in the winter
Glad I found your channel I cant wait for the next video.
Very true advise. I was fishing AR river this week and that's where we caught them, right in the cover water was very dirty. Your advice is some of the Best!! Always enjoy your videos.
Can't wait to apply this on some of our lakes here in Illinois. We've gotten a ton of rain and I should have a ton of flooded laydowns and bushes to fish this weekend.
I feel confident with swimbaits! Who's with me?
Great video Walker. How heavy of a weight do you use in that timber? Keep the videos coming!!
Another great video Walker. That's my type of fishing as well. Nothing better than feeling that hard thump when your bait starts to sink
what craw do you like to use that has action and can cast really far ???… some craws you can't cast far and others you can…
when there is no cover, what would you use[15 ft deep]? I have used blk/blue, june bug, blk/emerald , white/chartreuse. from spinner baits, chatter baits, worms, craws, baby brush hogs, swim baits, and I seem not to catch anything. cloudy, sunny and in between. maybe it is just that body of water that I am fishing
Great point emphasizing making repeated casts to the same spot; that is something I am horrible at seeing as I just started fishing 6 months ago. Thanks for the great video!
Would these tips work for cold muddy water as far as fishing shallow?
Always fishing muddy water here in Florida. Appreciate the video, Thanks for the tips.
awesome tips
Very informative, I like this guys teaching style
im use to 2 inches or less of visible water, great advice i found a 3/8 to 1/2 oz spinnerbait with bigger Colorado blades in gold with either chart./white or black/yellow skirts work great with a slow steady retrieve next to wood or find shady water u got fish it just takes time and u got to be thorough and make multiple casts and be ready bc when they hit its a rocket.
awesome videos with lots of good info. thank you!!
Why the two dislikes? Learn alot from Wired2fish…
Love these videos. All I do is shallow water fish here in Alabama.
Great tips here even for a bank fisherman. I left a like
I needed this. its been raining FAR too much down here. how is it different fishing a river than a lake or pond?
awesome 👍🎣
Great tip !
