In this 19 June excursion to Vernon County, MO, Bear Paws hand poured Grim Reapers and Slugsters in Funky color worked well for late June Bass.
Although several other lure patterns (spinnerbaits, buzz baits) were used, the pattern for the day was a slow moving, Texas rigged lure dragged, lifted and dropped along the bottom.
Rudie has a starring role in the selection of lures in his favorite color. I don’t know how he knows….. 馃檪
Thankfully, Sparky receives his well deserved besmirks and come duel,, but will surely remember touring the shoreline “back when” and catching big bass on buzz baits.
Enjoy the show!

I bought a bunch of hand tied skirted ned jigs bc I watch you slay them so much on them. Any suggestions on retrieve? I recall in one video you had said you do a single pop and swim them back?
Great video, I love fishing curly tail grubs. Never tried this brand before. Shout out from Canada!
